Coconut Caramel Shortbread with White Chocolate

Coconut Caramel Shortbread with White Chocolate

Today there is another teenager in my house.

A male one this time.

That means funny smells, pimples, posters of scantily clad women on the walls, grunting where words would suffice, trousers half way down the butt and worse of all GIRLFRIENDS!

Back to school.

Three harmless words. Together, however, their alliance packs quite a punch.

MAD AWARDS 2011

The MAD Awards 2011 announced their nominees last month and, like last year, I was lucky enough to be included. The awards have grown slightly in size and prominence and now include a Best MAD Food Blog. That’s the category you will find me in along with Maison Cupcake, Cooking Cakes and Children, Feeding Boys and a Firefighter and Jam and Clotted Cream.  They are all great blogs and I feel honoured to be nominated along with them. Please check out their blogs if you haven’t seen them before. If you would like to vote for me or any of the other nominees in any of the categories please head on over to the MAD Awards Voting Page. Obviously I would love your support! Voting ends Friday (yeah you could say I have slightly left this to the last minute…but then I wouldn’t be me now would I?).
